Work for MusicPlayers.com!

Working for MusicPlayers.com on a part-time basis can provide great exposure for professional musicians and other creative professionals. There are numerous non-monetary benefits that come from being affiliated with the Internet's premiere online magazine for serious musicians such as discounts on music gear (sometimes even free), publicity for your band or session work, access to industry events and concerts, and more.

Sales

One good advertising sales rep is needed for placing online/banner advertising throughout the MusicPlayers.com website. You should have a broad knowledge of music equipment and manufacturers across the industry since our audience play guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, and use recording gear.

Work involves a combination of print mailings (physical media kits), email communication, and cold calling on the telephone.

We're currently offering a straight (but generous) commission plus other non-monetary perks for this position.

Editorial

We're looking for a few freelance writers to join our team. You need to have some professional credentials either as a musical artist, working pro, or audio engineer (with solid writing skills), or as a professional writer in the fields of music, music education, technology, or a related discipline.

Areas covered may include: drums and percussion, guitars and bass, keyboards/synths, drum machines and rhythm/groove boxes, pro audio recording, live sound, and more.

We need writers both for product reviews as well as conducting interviews with professional musicians and recording artists.

Design and Web Development

We're looking for another web designer and/or web developer to help with the ongoing production of the MusicPlayers.com web site. The site is built primarily using PHP, and some HTML. A developer with PHP experience is required, and designers should have experience designing professional looking web sites.

To Apply...

We don't need to read lengthy resumes, so please just drop us a line telling us about your experience as a musician, as a writer, or as a designer/developer. If you do have a resume, try to keep it to two pages or less. If you have published works online, send us a link to check out some of your writing, or email us some writing samples in a PDF. If you're a designer or developer, you must send us links to web sites that you have worked on to show us actual examples of your design/development skills.

Please send your information to us at editorial@musicplayers.com.
